Sherburn Community Gymnastics Club is a welcoming, friendly and inclusive gymnastics club that truly believe that every individual can achieve their target goals through gymnastics; an exciting, diverse, energetic and worthy sport that is growing rapidly around the world!
SCGC Ltd was founded in 2007 with a vision of making gymnastics accessible for all backgrounds within the surrounding community. The club was built on a love and passion for the sport and originally begun by running classes out of local schools. In early 2017 a lease was secured on a dedicated building, meaning finally we could have a building that was fit for purpose.
We welcome all children and young adults that wish to try something a little bit different. The club takes children from 2 years old and our current eldest trainee is 34 years old so experience and ability is irrelevant to us.
As a rapidly growing recreational club, we currently offer pre-school gymnastics, general gymnastics which includes low level competitions, Team gym and display gymnastics (currently offered to aspiring gymnasts from our general gymnastic classes). Please see the ‘Classes’ page for further details.
SCGC’s dedicated team of coaches, welfare officers, fundraisers and volunteers work tirelessly to create exciting opportunities for all that are associated with the club.
